13.56MHz Fixed UID RFID Reader Suitable for Admission Control Systems

Toronto,Canada,February 21st,2011 - GAO RFID Asset Tracking is offering its 13.56MHz fixed UID RFID reader working at a fast baud rate of 19,200bps without flow control. It is an ideal hardware solution for integration into access control, security control or admission control systems and is easy for installation. This high frequency reader supports multi-detection and provides read distances of up to 50 cm with a maximum read quantity of 16 tags/s.

The advanced fixed RFID reader, model 213002, complies with ISO15693 UID standard and is both CE and FCC certified. The reader offers a built-in antenna and three different communication interfaces which are RS232, Wiegand and MSR ABA TK2. Encapsulated within an ABS case and with an IP40 protection rating, the portable RFID reader is water and dust resistant and functions well even in harsh environments.
