MXH and MXU Antenna Multiplexers Packed with Practical Functions

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Asset Tracking has released its MXH and MXU antenna multiplexers (GAO733001) used to ease integration efforts for devices requiring multiple read-points. Digital control of the multiplexer is accomplished by either the host or reader module that allows any of the eight antennas to be explicitly addressed using three GPIO pins.

Both the MXH and MXU can be equipped with 4 or 8 antenna ports depending on the application requirements. The antenna multiplexers boast low infrastructure costs and minimize the number of readers required to support multiple read-points. Additional multiplexers can also be added to increase the number of antennas so that a module supports beyond eight presenting a scalable solution.
