902MHz Semi-Passive RFID Reader

Toronto,Canada - GAO RFID Asset Tracking is offering a semi-passive RFID reader which can be configured with up to four antenna pairs. It provides industry-leading read range and read/write reliability for such applications as asset tracking, inventory control, supply chain and warehouse management. This RFID reader is capable of reading EPC-compliant passive tags, as well as next- generation Class 3 battery-assisted passive tags.

The rugged semi-passive RFID reader, model 236005, performs well even in environments near liquids, metals and other RF-unfriendly conditions, which ensures the readability of fully loaded pallets and containers. It allows for up to 100m read distance. This optimized semi-passive RFID reader offers LED visual status indicators for power (green), activity (yellow) and error (red). It provides a remote, Web-based firmware upgrade function for embedded software. In addition, the embedded software provides support for multiple applications to share control over the reader.
