Overview

This UHF 4-port fixed RFID reader possesses many outstanding features including easy integration, low setup and running cost and remote firmware management. It communicates via the high performance Alien Reader Protocol, with key RFID platform support including Microsoft® BizTalk RFID, OatSystems, Oracle®,andXterprise. It has Power over Ethernet functionality which can use power from any existing Ethernet infrastructure, eliminating the need for external power supplies. A PoE power injector is provided to supply power if PoE is not available. It offers 4 antenna connection ports which significantly reduce the cost and complexity of installing an RFID read point. It also supports autonomous mode of operation that reduces network traffic and minimizes central processing.In addition, a well-documented SDK featuring .NET, Java and Ruby libraries enables easy development of custom interfaces to control the reader if desired.
